Chew Valley Cottage

A marriage of old and new, our restoration of this rural Somerset cottage will celebrate the historic, imperfect charm of its centuries-old architecture, replacing harsh synthetic materials with tactile, organic finishes in keeping with the local vernacular.

Natural stone, wood, clay, linen and wool will sit comfortably alongside a palette of earthy tones and textures. Modern furniture, lighting and joinery will present a juxtaposition that allows the original features to shine, whilst celebrating the client’s appreciation of contemporary handcrafted pieces.
